MaryAnn Vitkauskas, 64, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2021 with her loving family by her side after an arduous and lengthy battle of cancer. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Allen, her siblings Elaine Martone (Anthony) of Venice, FL and Frank Palermo (Jacquelyn) of Greenwood, DE. MaryAnn’s legacy continues with her four children Christine Mujkanovic (Emir), Cynthia Albertson (Sean), Christopher Vitkauskas (Astin), Charlene Davis (Matthew) and her 6 granddaughters: Nicole, Kylie, Jasmine, Jocelyn, Chloe, and River. Although she had only 4 children by birth, she was a loving mother to many. MaryAnn spent her early years in Derby, Connecticut where she met the love of her life and started a family. In 1989, the family moved to Edgewater, Florida. MaryAnn worked various jobs in retail and real estate. She volunteered heavily as committee member of former Boy Scout Troop #406. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, baking, camping, crafting, and quiet trips to watch the dolphins on the river. MaryAnn had an abundance of faith, optimism, and humor. She was driven by the opportunity to host family gatherings. MaryAnn was a loving friend offering a cup of coffee and a good conversation to any in need. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
