Lori Lee Ward, 57, of Port Orange, Florida, left us, surrounded by her family on May 19, 2021, after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Lori was predeceased by her parents, Donald Rudolph Betke and Dolores Wilda Betke. She is survived by her daughters, Nicole Ward and Courtney Ward, as well as her sisters Donna Martin, Jody Moorehead, Lisa Simpson, Sue Seman, Dawn Nemec, and Lynette Linnen. Additionally, she is survived by many nieces, nephews and beloved friends who she loved dearly.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, sister, aunt, and friend, Lori loved the outdoors and enjoyed sitting outside surrounded by her birds and squirrels. She also loved all animals and taking in stray cats. She looked forward to spending time with friends and family especially if there were margaritas involved. Lori is loved by many and will be missed.

Honoring her wishes, A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 27th, at Crabby Joes, 3701 S Atlantic Ave, Daytona Beach Shores, FL 32118.

Courtney and Nicole, my deepest and heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother, Lori. I had the honor of working with her at Halifax and had many margaritas with her on TACO Tuesdays! Lori was a special gal and will be missed by many.
