On September 27, 2020, Lillian Peer, age 77, passed away unexpectedly. She was born on December 9, 1942, in Dover NJ to Wilbur and Eleanor Richards. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 51 years, Arthur, three loving daughters, Donna Mangano and her husband Michael, Pam Peer, and Jennifer Elkins and her husband Tom, two stepdaughters Gail Zahner and Julie Weiler and her husband Bob, two grandchildren Ryan and Marissa Mangano, a sister Janet Richards, two step-grandchildren Shane Raber and his wife Katie, and Dan Weiler and his wife Jen, and four step-great-grandchildren, in addition to many close friends and family.
Lillian’s passion in life was her family. She loved spending time laughing and joking with them all, but especially her two grandchildren. Ryan and Marissa were the absolute biggest joy in her life. She shared an especially close bond with both.
Lillian had a unique way of making everyone feel like family when they were with her. Some of her favorite past times were bird watching and visiting with her grand fur babies.
Lillian retired in 2007 from the South Daytona Fire Department after working for them as an administrative assistant for 13 years. She had a special way in her professional life too. She was always doing thoughtful acts such as baking for birthdays and randomly making special treats for everyone to enjoy.
Services are private, immediate family only. In lieu of flowers, you are welcome to make a donation in her memory to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.

Art, Donna, Pam, Jennifer I am still at a loss for words. That’s a beautiful picture of Lillian, I have such a good memories of her. I know she was a good mother because her children were all she ever talked about, oh and those grandchildren they always brought a smile to her face. Art You were her rock. You were her rock. God bless you all I’ll keep you in my prayers.
