Ms. Kathy you will forever be missed. Thank you for all you ever did for The Baldwin’s. You were like a second grandmother to my kids. You will forever be in our hearts.

She was the sweetest woman almost like a mom to me, her daughter-Linda was my best friend in school, I spent a lot of time with this family and the one thing that stood out is how much she loved her kids, worked so hard to provide and to give them extra, I even remember the days she would take us to the beach so we could lay out for hours to get a tan and she just sat in her car with the air conditioning waiting on us- I don’t know any mom, even myself that would do that- haha. Her cooking of deserts the Pina Colada cheese cake that she entered into a contest- oh it was worthy of an award- delish is a understatement! And red red red she loved. she was beautiful inside and out and I am sure she will be greatly missed by so many.

I only had the pleasure of seeing her in person 3 times but I knew right away she was a very vibrant, strong, and independent woman. She let me stay in her home and cooked and baked for all of us guests. (I think this was in 2005) She was cooking 4 different things at one point and I remember I asked if she needed help. She was so calm. I even asked how she could be stressless when she had 4 different things going on at the same time in the kitchen! And I’ll never forget all those magnets on the fridge!

You will truly be missed by many. I am so glad you came and visited with Mary and got to meet Noah and Taylor (2 of her great grandchildren)

I will make sure they know all about all of your award winning recipes and the many magazines, cookbooks, and the butter package you were on! I also have saved many of the special cards you have made for all of us. I cant wait to show the kids when they are older.

We will see you again one day but we will all miss you till then.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy’s whole Family, especially my Grandson Mikey and his Mom, Linda. And to Mary, Helen and Brenda, my same heartfelt thoughts to all of you and your Families. Kathy was one of my favorite people for a variety of reasons. She just inspired me so much. I wanted to be like she was, right up to her age. So fun, active and loving. I miss our lunches, and sorry I couldn’t spend more time with you in the last year. May God help you all through your very difficult loss. I love you all. <3

My grandmother was one of the most inspiring and incredible women I have and will ever meet. She touched and brought joy to everyone she interacted with. She was always dressed to impressed and ready to take on the day! Because of her I still to this day (at almost age 31) think twice before I say “yeah” instead of “yes” in fear at she will hear me being grammatically incorrect! My fondest and MOST cherished memeories were spending time with her as a young man; cooking and baking together, watching movies, playing puzzles and going out to eat at Won Lee’s in Deland. I will forever be grateful for the love and care she gave to me. I would be a very different man today without her.

To my sweet and beautiful Grandmother,

I love and miss you so much already. Thank you for being such an amazing woman and caring so much. I very much look forward to the day I get to see you again. Until then may you Rest In Peace.

All my love,

There are no words for a loss of a loved one
. I will miss Kathy very much as she was a very special friend she was very easy to talk to and was always willing to listen.
I was her hairdresser for a few years and we got to know each other quite a bit she would always have coffee or something for me to snack on she was so considerate and thoughtful of other people
She was a wonderful cook she would often give me some recipes but they would never stand up to what she could do when it came to cooking or even pastries
She was quite the lady always well groomed and always looked forward to getting her hair done
I will miss our times when we would talk on the phone
She will surely be missed and loved as she was a very special lady and a dear friend to me

I pass by the turn off to her old house off Spring Garden almost every day and think of the times I would spend the night there when Shelli and I were in high school. We used to make s’mores in the microwave. 🙂 I know she will be missed by all of those who were closest to her!

I reach for the phone to call you with news or to ask a question, and I remember… I remember the hole in my heart that will never be healed.
I will always appreciate the lessons and love you taught.
Forever in my heart! I love you, mom!!

I would like to add a little more sense my last post.
Every time I see my mom’s favorite color, red or I see my mom’s favorite thing to watch on TV, ice skating or think about eating Chinese food, one of my mom’s favorite things to do was to go out and eat at her favorite Chinese restaurant, I think of and miss my mom. There are so many things that remind me of my mother I can’t help but to miss her. Mom, you may be out of sight but you are not out of mind. See you in heaven one day. ❤❤
