Juliette Starkov, nee Boivin, passed away Friday, January 1 at Indigo Manor. Born in Labelle, QC, Canada, she spent most of early life in St-Jerome, Canada and worked at the Regent Knitting Mills.
She was married to Real Filion in 1945 until his death in 1947. She married Leo Starkov in 1965, until his death in 1993.
She was very creative and did beautiful crafts which she would give to everyone she knew.
She is survived by daughter Francine Filion Babineau (Leonard), Grand-daughter Michelle Babineau (York, PA), Anna Kirsteins (Toronto, Canada) and many nephews and nieces in Canada.
Many thanks to the caring people of Indigo Manor and Halifax Hospice Service, who took great care of Juliette.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 13 at 1 PM at the Catholic Church of the Epiphany, 201 Lafayette St., Port Orange, FL with her pastor, Fr. John Bosco Maison officiating. Her cremains will be taken to St-Jerome, QC, Canada for her final resting place.
