John M Didrence was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 17, 2020.
John was born on December 29, 1939 in Trenton, New Jersey, to Stephen Didrence and Elizabeth Csopko. He proudly served in the United States Navy as an aircraft electrician. He attended Trenton State College where he majored in Criminal Justice, and in 1967 he became a Law Enforcement Officer with the city of Trenton Police Department, serving as a Criminal Investigator. After retirement he moved to Edgewater, Florida.
John loved to spend his time in Bible Study, shooting in rifle competitions, traveling, and writing. He had two books published.
John is survived by his wife, Myrtice; sister, Elizabeth (Betty) Ann Sabo; son, David Didrence; daughter, Tara Didrence; 4 step children, Mark Curran; Michele Maushund (Todd); Stephanie Young (William); Kristina Massfeller (Ryan); 1 step-granddaughter, Brittany Rebucci (Paul); two step-grandsons Sam and Ben Massfeller and a niece and 2 nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Elizabeth Didrence and a sister Barbara W. Kepcsik.
John did not wish to have a service, however a Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at a later date.
