Jim Taylor, 66 of Sanford, FL went to be with the Lord Tuesday, August 31, 2021
He is survived by his beloved Roxanne Taylor, his three children daughter Tiffany & husband Chris Thornton, son Daniel Taylor, son Jimmie Taylor, and his 6 grandchildren Emily, Daniel Jr., Carly, Paisley, Ember, and Iyla.
Jim is also survived by his loving sister Kathy and husband Steve Coxon and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother Dimple Jones Taylor. His father Sam G. Taylor joined him on the streets of gold only a day after his passing.
Jim was born to Dimple & Sam Taylor in Hammond, IN. on November 9th, 1954. He moved to Florida in 1969 and graduated high school at New Smyrna Beach High. He enjoyed racing Motocross and at age 17 held the “FL State Moto Champ” title.
He came to know the Lord at age 33 and did some wonderful things to further His kingdom. He traveled overseas on missions trips, preached in jails, and was involved with many outreaches.
He was a hardworking and devoted father who loved his children and always made sure their needs were meet and then some.
Jim was a knowledgable and hardworking top-producing Realtor in West Volusia. He enjoyed studying the bible, bible prophecy, the beach, shooting guns, and anything that went fast.
He will be deeply missed.
His memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 3, 2021, at First Assembly Deland 551 S. Kepler Rd. Deland, FL 32724
