Charles C Shepard and Bernice A Shepard

Charles C. Shepard Sr. 3.14.46 to 7.14.20 and Bernice A. Shepard 8.04.46 to 7.11.20

Charlie and Bernice, married 49 years, left to be with Our Lord and Savior just days apart.

Charlie and Bernice were both born in Connecticut. They attended Morgan High School and upon graduation, they both proudly served in the United States Air Force.

Charlie was an accomplished Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanic until his retirement. Bernice was a successful manager in the gas and oil industry, eventually transitioning to retail sales prior to retirement.

Together, Charlie and Bernice raised five children: Paul Kelly, Dawn Kelly, Charles Shepard Jr. (April), Orange City, FL, Wende Lee (Ezell), Pierson, FL and Holli (Mark), Plymouth, ME. And their Honorary Daughter, Jennifer Wood (Andrew), Edmonton, Canada.

They were unbelievably Blessed with nine grandchildren: Katie Wright, Baylee Bezeredi and Lauren Kelly (Paul Kelly) Jeffrey Jr. Naviaux, Christopher Naviaux, Aimee Gulleyand Kyrstynne Naviaux (Dawn Kelly). Brittany Dubberly and Deven Shepard (Charles Shepard Jr.).

From those Blessings they were proudly made great-grandparents to five more. And let us not forget their four-pawed grandpups and grandkitties.
Charlie was preceded in death by his bride, Bernice, his parents, Bion and Maxine Shepard, his eldest children, Paul and Dawn. He is survived by his three siblings, “Shep” Shepard, Lil Bernard and Dottie Bugg (Clinton, CT).

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, John and Dorothea Bergen, her eldest children, Paul and Dawn and her sister Doris Shaw. She is survived by her sister Louise Eagan (Port Orange, FL).
Their surviving children, Charles, Wende and Holli will miss them always but take comfort in knowing they walk together, hand in hand, on those glorious streets of gold.
Almighty God, source of all mercy and giver of comfort; Deal graciously with us who mourn, that casting all our sorrow on you, we may know the consolation of your love; through your Son, Jesus Christ.

At this time, interment will be postponed.
